The goal of Tic Tac Toe is to be the first player to get three in a row on a 3x3 grid. Players alternate placing Xs and Os on the board until either (a) one player has three in a row, horizontally, vertically or diagonally; or (b) all nine squares are filled. If a player is able to draw three Xs or three Os in a row, that player wins. If all nine squares are filled and neither player has three in a row, the game is a draw.

The second player then draws another line to connect another two dots. The goal is to be the person who draws the last side of a square. Then you put your initials inside the square. In some versions of this game, if you complete a square you get another turn. The player with the most squares when all the squares are drawn is the winner.

Hangman
The goal of this game is to guess the opponent's word before your man's diagram is complete. One player thinks of a word and the other tries to guess it by suggesting letters. The word to guess is represented by a row of dashes, giving the number of letters. If the guessing player suggests a letter which occurs in the word, the other player writes it in all its correct positions. If the suggested letter does not occur in the word, the other player draws one element of the hangman diagram and writes the letter on the paper so that it is not guessed again. The game is won when the guessing player completes the word or guesses the whole word correctly. The game is lost when the other player completes the diagram.
